Showstopping Light Display on the Vegas Strip

TPG Architecture commissioned VISO to custom design-engineer, manufacture, install and program this one-of-a-kind feature decorative lighting installation for Nusr-Et restaurant in Las Vegas. The custom decorative lighting installation features an LED column, multiple LED panels, rings, and ceiling with the highest pixel quality LED screens, contemporary decorative crystal pendants and DMX controlled LEDs. VISO also designed, engineered, manufactured and installed a custom wine cellar display with DMX technology.

Brief

TPG Architeture is a leading design firm based in New York City. They are committed to creating interior environments that are tailor-made to fit their clients' exact needs. Subsequently, TPG entrusted VISO to design-engineer custom lighting solutions for Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Las Vegas. Together, they use design as a tool to support an illuminating transformation and add value.

Client Need

Located next to T-Mobile Arena, this luxury restaurant needed unique designs for the best dining environment for guests looking to get a VIP experience.

Challenges

VISO meticulously planned and custom manufactured each light in this collection. The feature installation is the grand centre fixture within the bar area with LED panels. Dealing with a corporate expansion and a tight deadline, not to mention a global pandemic, the VISO team had to work strategically around the clock to ensure smooth teamwork with each team member for a successful installation. This allowed VISO to effectively maintain constant communication and safely monitor visits on-site.

The Solution: Custom Feature LED Column

This custom light structure is the main install feature of this restaurant, spanning between two floors. It doubles in function as it also houses the glassware and presents videos on the LED screen panels.

The Solution: Custom Wall Sconce

Inspired by pop culture and owner, Nusret "Salt Bae" Gökçe, custom wall sconces decorate the bathrooms. These opaque white glass shades feature a multifaceted surface similar to a salt granule. With an opaque finish, the shades naturally provide a diffused glow. In contrast to the white shades, these wall sconces are accented in a sand black finish to perfectly match the rest of the bathroom decor.

The Solution: Custom Wall Fixture

This custom fabricated suspension light is affixed to the wall. To create a cohesive design throughout the space, this fixture has a sand black finish. The clear glass shade houses an inner metal mesh for a textured quality that offers a wonderful light show. Lastly, the antique brass picks up on warm tones that are perfect for restaurants, creating an inviting ambiance for patrons.

The Solution: Custom Pendant

This custom pendant design is a brand variation of our popular Gemma collection. Made from a solid crystal body, the multifaceted surface picks up light and creates a shimmering effect with the addition of smaller crystal accents along the cable. These custom pendants were installed as singles and as clustered pendants for dramatic elegance.
