Brief

VISO developed five bespoke pendants in two sizes for hanging within the existing building structure.

Client Need

The aim was to elevate the synergy between the bar, lounge, and restaurant creating a dynamic atmosphere reminiscent of the world's most beloved social hubs. The result is a unique fusion of the energy of a sidewalk café with the refined elegance of fine dining.

Challenge

The structure of the existing angled concrete ceiling played a role in decisions surrounding the design development and engineering of the pendants, the gradient amber and rose feathers and hidden internal pendant structure.

Solution

Throughout the design process, glass feathers were removed and adjusted to meet aesthetic and weight load requirements. The height of the pendants was determined and adjusted on site during installation. Each diffuser is moveable from the base for ease of maintenance.
