VISO Appoints Dr. Albert S. Fakhoury as Chief Strategy Officer.

November 19, 2025 - VISO continues to expand its operations in the Middle East, reinforcing the company’s strategic growth in the region. The company is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Albert S. Fakhoury as Chief Strategy Officer.

An award-winning architect, academic leader, and strategist, Dr. Fakhoury brings over two decades of global experience in architecture, scenography, design innovation, and higher education. In his new role, he will lead VISO’s international growth strategy, innovation roadmap, and sustainability initiatives—bridging architecture with advanced lighting solutions.

Dr. Fakhoury holds dual Ph.D. degrees in Architecture (Sustainability & Innovation) from the University of Maryland and in Scenography from Università IUAV di Venezia. He also holds an MFA in Product Design from the Accademia Italiana. His multidisciplinary background fosters a holistic design philosophy that merges creativity, technology, and environmental responsibility.

Internationally recognized for his leadership, Dr. Fakhoury serves as President of the Council for International Accreditation of Architecture & Design (CIAAD), working closely with the United Nations to promote design education aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His career spans major architectural projects, academic program development, and international partnerships across the Middle East, North America, and Europe. He has received over 30 prestigious honors, including the International Design Award for Best Architect & Designer and repeated inclusion on the POWER 50 list of global design leaders.
