Mimi Wins a Hospitality Design Award
May 2026 - LAS VEGAS
Mimi is one of three interconnected hospitality spaces, alongside Olia (Italian dining) and Va Caffè (daytime café) designed by Edmonton-based studio Ste Marie for the Citizen on Jasper residential tower in Central Edmonton. The trio creates a cultural destination that blends hospitality, design, and community, with each venue offering a distinct atmosphere.
VISO created the immersive lighting fixtures throughout the Mimi space, optimizing the sensory experience for guests.

VISO's lighting design collections are based on a “Light is Life” philosophy: light inspires life into spaces. Light affects our perception of space through its warmth, colour, and dimension. Light transforms physical space, enhances the senses and creates strong emotional impact. Click to see a collection of our Projects.
