Description:

The position requires an individual who has a minimum of 8-10 years progressive experience performing the following functions:

  • Bookkeeping using QuickBooks Enterprise A/R, A/P, G/L, payroll and affiliated reporting, preparation of all journal entries, any and all reconciliations as required.
  • Assist in annual preparation of financial statement with external accounting firm.
  • Daily and monthly deposits dealing with 2 different banks and multiple currencies HST/GST reporting in a timely manner.
  • WSIB reporting in a timely manner.
  • Assist senior management in reviewing operational and systems policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other accounting related function as directed by senior management.
  • Perform human resource functions as directed by senior management (i.e. Accessibility Training, First Aid Training and other compliance and benefits related issues).
